The Gaza Ministry of Health has issued a dire warning about the escalating massacres and humanitarian disaster unfolding in the region. According to Dr. Muneer Al-Barsh, the Director-General of the Ministry, the ongoing Israeli airstrikes are wreaking havoc on Gaza’s infrastructure, including hospitals and essential medical facilities.
Dr. Al-Barsh explained that 75% of essential medicines have been depleted, and hospitals are facing severe shortages in medical supplies for treating injuries, such as fracture stabilization equipment. Medical staff are being forced to wait for one patient’s treatment to finish before transferring the equipment to another.
He described the situation as "systematic genocide", with the continuous destruction of residential buildings, resulting in 43 deaths, including 35 in Gaza City alone since Wednesday morning. As the bombardment persists, Gaza’s population of around 1.2 million people faces increasing difficulty in finding safe shelter.
