On Tuesday morning, Israeli bulldozers embarked once again on levelling raised areas of land around the Bedouin community of Khan al-Ahmar in Occupied Jerusalem as a prelude to forcibly evacuating the local residents and protesters any moment.
Israeli bulldozers, escorted by soldiers, arrived early in the morning in the village and resumed levelling land and making routes to facilitate entry of troops when Israeli officials give the go-ahead for the destruction of the village. They did some levelling work in the village on Monday, provoking activists and residents to clash with soldiers.
Activists have been staging a sit-in for days at the Palestinian village to ward off Israeli attempts to destroy it and displace its residents.
