Hordes of Israeli settlers defile al-Aqsa Mosque

Dozens of Israeli settlers on Monday morning stormed al-Aqsa Mosque while escorted by a large police force. “46 Jewish settlers broke into al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning hours, roamed its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals.” Jerusalem's Islamic Awqaf Department said. Adding 28 Israeli government officials along with 11 army officers entered the Mosque during the same period. The Israeli police escorted the settlers during the break-in until they left the site via al-Silsila Gate. Another group of settlers is scheduled to visit the Mosque following noon prayer, according to the Islamic Awqaf Department.
