The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) last night and at dawn Tuesday kidnaped a number of Palestinian young men and clashed with others in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped three university students from their homes in Bireh City, east of Ramallah.
The detainees were identified as Laith Barmawi, Amro Qasem and Munder Qasem.
The IOF also stormed Ras Karkar town in Ramallah, set up a makeshift checkpoint at its main entrance and attacked local residents in the area with tear gas.
In Jericho, violent clashes broke out between the IOF and local youths in the vicinity of Aqabat Jabr refugee camp, during which soldiers fired rubber bullets and tear gas grenades. No one was reportedly hurt during the events.
In east Jerusalem, police forces aboard vehicles stormed al-Ram town and patrolled its streets. No arrests have been reported.
Meanwhile, a group of youths threw homemade fire bombs at the IOF watchtower at the main entrance to Shuafat refugee camp.
In the Jerusalem district of Issawiya, violent clashes broke out between local youths and police forces at the western entrance to the area.
The police reportedly kidnaped two young men identified as Adam Obeid and Mohamed Obeid at the main entrance to Issawiya.
