Israeli forces today assaulted Palestinian students and prevented them from accessing their school in the village of Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya,  located on the Ramallah-Nablus main street.

The soldiers raided the village, fired sound bombs toward the students and prevented them from accessing their school.

Yesterday, Israeli soldiers harassed the students and prevented them from using the road, forcing them to take a different longer and rougher route to get to their school.

Attacks on education by Israeli military forces and Israeli settlers in the Palestine constitute grave violations of children’s rights to education and development. These attacks are particularly prevalent in the most vulnerable areas of the West Bank – Area C, H2 and Jerusalem.
