Israeli occupation forces last night detained five Palestinians during nightly raids in the occupied West Bank districts of Hebron and Ramallah, local and Palestinian security sources said.
In Hebron province, south of the West Bank, at least four Palestinians were detained by Israeli occupation soldiers who raided and searched their homes in middle of the night.
In Ramallah province, in the center of the West Bank, the Israeli occupation army detained a Palestinian young man from the town of Silwad while he was attempting to cross a temporary Israeli checkpoint set up at the entrance to the town.
Almost on a daily basis, Israeli occupation forces carry out raids targeting populated Palestinian communities for arrests or searches.
The practice, mostly carried out at nighttime, has become a routine under Israeli military regime.
