The Palestinian prisoner Salim al-Rjoub on Saturday suspended his hunger strike which lasted for 25 days in protest at his administrative detention, the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission said.

Al-Rjoub, 48, a resident of al-Khalil, had served a total of 8 years in Israeli jails. On Saturday he reached an agreement with the Israel Prison Service to end his hunger strike in exchange for being released on 29 August.



Meanwhile, the Palestinian prisoners Ouda al-Horoub and Hasan al-Awiwi have been on hunger strike for 47 days,
