The Palestinian prisoner Salim al-Rjoub on Saturday suspended his hunger strike which lasted for 25 days in protest at his administrative detention, the Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission said.
Al-Rjoub, 48, a resident of al-Khalil, had served a total of 8 years in Israeli jails. On Saturday he reached an agreement with the Israel Prison Service to end his hunger strike in exchange for being released on 29 August.![]()
Meanwhile, the Palestinian prisoners Ouda al-Horoub and Hasan al-Awiwi have been on hunger strike for 47 days,
