The Israeli occupation forces stormed with violent clashes overnight on Monday Azzoun town, east of Qalqiliya, northern occupied West Bank and set up makeshift checkpoints.
The occupation army has closed off the main entrance to the town, blocking Palestinians’ free movement inside and outside. Consequently, Palestinian civilians choked on teargas during the clashes.
Israeli soldiers also sealed off the Jenin-Nablus thoroughfare, near the access road to Jaba’ town, south of Jenin, with a military checkpoint and subjected Palestinian civilians and vehicles to intensive search and inspection.
