Israel is the only country in the world to impose sanctions on dead bodies since it holds unknown numbers of bodies of Palestinian and Arab martyrs who were martyred at various stages of the national struggle.

To this end, Israel has established secret tombs known as cemeteries, where four such graves have been unearthed, as well as other bodies in refrigerators.

The secret tombs are simple tombs, surrounded by stones without evidence, and a metal plate with a certain number is placed on top of the tomb. This is why it is called the cemetery of numbers because it takes the numbers as an alternative to the names of the martyrs. Each file has a special file maintained by the responsible security agency and includes information and data for each martyr.

1. The cemetery of the numbers adjacent to the "Girls of Jacob" Bridge, located in a military zone, at the confluence of the Israeli-Syrian-Lebanese border. According to some sources, there are approximately 500 graves in it for Palestinian and Lebanese martyrs, most of them who were killed in the 1982 war.

2. The cemetery of the figures located in the closed military area between the city of Jericho and a bloody bridge in the Jordan Valley. It is surrounded by a wall with an iron gate. A large sign reads: "Cemetery for the victims of the enemy." There are more than 100 graves. Figures from "5003 - 5107". These figures are likely to be serial to tombs in other tombs. However, Israel claims that they are mere signs and administrative symbols that do not reflect the actual number of bodies held in other graves.

3. The cemetery of "Revidim" located in the Jordan Valley.

4. Shehita cemetery, located in the village of Wadi al-Hamam, north of the city of Tiberias, between Mount Arbel and Lake Tiberias. Most of the bodies of the martyrs of the battles of the Jordan Valley between 1965 - 1975.
