Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has approved the death penalty for Palestinian perpetrators.
The Israeli channel Kan revealed that Netanyahu had given the green light to enact the death penalty law against the Palestinians who carried out the operations, which was proposed by Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu party.
The radio said that the agreement was reached at a meeting of Israeli party leaders after a request from Israeli Education Minister Naftali Bennett.
It is noteworthy that the Knesset ratified in January this year preliminary reading of the death penalty for the executors of the Palestinian operations, voted for the bill 52 members of the Knesset and opposed 49 members.
The law requires Israeli military courts to impose the death penalty by a majority of two judges, and not as is the case today, with the full consensus of the judges.
