Children, students kidnapped by Israeli army in West Bank sweep

Scores of Palestinians were kidnapped by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Tuesday in abduction sweeps rocking West Bank provinces.

At least seven Palestinians were kidnapped by Israeli soldiers from Nablus alone.

The list includes the Palestinian university student Nusair Abu Thabet. The latter was kidnapped by the IOF from his family home in Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.

The occupation forces also ravaged civilian homes in Ourata town, east of Nablus, and kidnapped the university student Zuhdi Qawariq. Ex-prisoner Samer Sharab was summoned to questioning in the process.

Overnight, four Palestinian youths were kidnapped by the IOF from Sebastiya town, west of Nablus.

At the same time, violent clashes rocked Beit Ummar town, north of al-Khalil, and culminated in the abduction of four Palestinians, including two minors—Omar al-Za’aqiq, 16, and Majdi Awad, 14.

The IOF further seized the vehicle of Palestinian ex-prisoner Youssef Abu Hashem and summoned another to question.

Meanwhile, Palestinian university student Mahmoud al-Amlah was kidnapped by the occupation army from al-Khalil’s western town of Beit Ola.

The assault culminated in the abduction of Palestinian student Mohamed Najajra from his family home in the city.
